Online Tax Preparation

We have been providing this service since 2000.  Although it is difficult to trust many websites that claim to offer this service, we make every effort to ensure that your information is protected.  We do not sell or provide your information to anyone that is not authorized.  Our online tax service is operated and maintained by Drake Software, a leader in Professional Tax Software for more than 20 years.

Certifying Acceptance Agent

We are authorized by the IRS to help Taxpayers who do not or can not receive a Social Security number, prepare and submit Form W-7 (Application for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number or ITIN).  This will enable Taxpayers to prepare and file U.S. Federal Income Taxes legally.  This number is not eligible for employment.  Any person attempting to use false Social Security Numbers for employment are subject to criminal penalties and deportation.

Qualified Tax Professionals

Every preparer in our office must complete a minimum of 60 hours of continuing professional education every year.  This is more that twice the IRS requirement.  We do this in order to provide you with the greatest level of professional service possible.  We set ourselves apart from most other tax preparation services because of this.

What is an Enrolled Agent?

Enrolled Agents are tax professionals licensed by the federal government (United States Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service). The history of Enrolled Agents dates back to 1884, when President Chester A. Arthur signed into law "The Enabling Act".  The act was signed 5 years before the first CPA Society was formed in 1889. This Act provided rules to regulate persons who represent citizens dealing with the Treasury Department or IRS.

Enrolled Agents were the first professionals authorized to prepare tax returns and represent taxpayers before the U.S. Treasury Department and later the IRS.  Unlike CPA's who generally only perform general accounting tasks and accounting audits, all Enrolled Agents specialize in taxation. They are involved in preparing, advising and representing all tax-reporting entities such as: Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, Estates and Trusts.

There are very few Enrolled Agents compared to CPA's due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to obtain the status of EA.  Although the exams for EA and CPA are similar, the CPA exam covers accounting procedures with limited tax knowledge and allows calculators to be present for calculations whereas the EA exam does not allow calculators and only covers comprehensive tax law.

EA’s have demonstrated technical competence in taxation by passing a rigorous 3 part exam covering ALL aspects of Tax Law which is administered by the IRS. As a result, EA’s are in a special position to help taxpayers deal with the IRS.
